Kristen Hayes is the Program Manager for Resilience Catalysts at the Center for Community Resilience at the Milken Institute School of Public Health. She leads the Resilience Catalysts work, which helps position local health departments as chief health strategists and supports them in building resilience within their local communities.
With a background in the field of child development, Kristen has worked within several educational and community settings to help promote the healthy and holistic development of young people. She is passionate about helping communities create equitable environments for all people to thrive. Her primary focuses in research and application include risk and resilience, traumatic stress, and wellbeing. Kristen received her bachelor’s in Education and master’s in Developmental Psychology from George Mason University
