Nia Bodrick, MD, MPH is a general pediatrician at Children’s National Hospital at the Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus (THEARC) and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC. Additionally, she serves as Medical Director at the DC-based Early Childhood Innovation Network (ECIN) and is President of the District of Columbia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (DCAAP) from 2022-2024. Her areas of interest include childhood obesity prevention, global health advocacy and policy and community resilience building. She holds her Doctorate of Medicine from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, Master of Public Health from Emory University in Atlanta, GA and Bachelor of Science from Hampton University in Hampton, VA. She completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Florida at Orlando Health in Orlando, Florida.
