Purva Trivedi (she/her) is a Policy Analyst at the Center for Community Resilience in the Milken Institute of Public Health. As a member of the Policy Lab, she assists the Center and the national network in their efforts to address the underlying factors of trauma, promoting equity and the development of resilient communities.

Purva is particularly interested in community-led policy and advocacy. Prior to joining CCR, she has worked in community and educational settings domestically and internationally to promote access to resources and education for young people to lead healthy lives. Most recently, she worked on a community-based youth decriminalization study at the Southern Coalition for Social Justice to develop policy recommendations addressing high BIPOC youth incarceration rates in North Carolina. Purva has a Master of Public Health in Health Equity, Social Justice, and Human Rights from UNC’s Gillings School of Global Public Health and a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry from Salem College.
